Say it with a handwritten note this mother's day

Secure the art of handwriting this Mother's Day with a special note to thank and honour your mum.

That's the call from leading stationery brand, uni-ball, as a survey commissioned by the company revealed our penned thoughts would leave a lasting impression.

Of those mum's surveyed, 72 per cent said they would rather receive a handwritten note that they could treasure rather than the customary flowers and chocolates that usually arrive to celebrate the occasion.

Stuart Barker, marketing manager at uni-ball, said: "We think the world of our mums and I can't think of a better way to say thank you than to give them a handwritten note.

"To write your messages use a uni-ball product that gives you a smooth writing experience and features our unique uni Super Ink. Unlike other standard inks it dries quicker and is resistant to light, water, acetone and bleach. The end result is a personal Mother's Day message that will stand the test of time."
