A double celebration for Mitsubishi pencil co. uk

At this year's Paperworld trade fair, held in Frankfurt, the UK division of the Mitsubishi Pencil Co. were acknowledged for their sales and marketing achievements.

uni-ball national account manager, Jay Guest, and UK marketing manager, Stuart Barker, were both presented with awards recognised by the company's head office in Tokyo.

Jay Guest achieved the top sales award in a global uni-ball sales contest for surpassing sales targets set for the Jetstream and Signo 207 rollerballs. Achieving an 84% sales increase above the set target, Jay also wins a trip to Tokyo alongside seven other winners from across the world.

Stuart Barker collected the outstanding marketing achievement award on behalf of MPC UK for the UK Marketing team's contribution to the Jetstream marketing campaign.

The Jetstream 'Instant Clarity' campaign utilised online media and social networking sites including Facebook to target the student audience. This was supported by the 'Jetstream Challenge' in WHSmith stores nationwide where the Jetstream was the preferred writing instrument in a 'blind test' against a leading competitor due to its smooth writing and quick drying ability.

Paul Phelan, managing director for uni-ball in the UK, commented; "We are delighted that MPC UK have been recognised for these impressive achievements. To have recognition from our corporate head office with these international awards is a great reward for the efforts demonstrated by Jay and Stuart as well as the rest of the team based in the UK".
